**12 month fixed term contract opportunity
About the Role:
As the Learning Designer Videographer located within the Learning and Innovation department, you will design video education products that align with and support CPA Australia’s strategic objectives
- Designing and developing engaging, and educational videos for CPA Australia’s online courses and products.
- Creating video content using a range of assets including interviews, screen recordings, stock footage, imagery, animation, and generative AI tools.
- Supporting the end-to-end video production process, including storyboarding, script preparation, editing, and publishing.
- Leveraging AI technologies such as Synthesia to enhance efficiency and quality in video and audio development.
- Ensuring all videos align with adult learning principles and meet quality, branding, and accessibility standards.
Working closely with the Learning Design team and Learning & Development team, you will provide video production support for CPA Australia’s CPA Program, Professional Development and other relevant products aimed at a sophisticated global audience and delivering against CPA Australia’s organisational strategy and business objectives. The role may also involve collaboration with videographers for filmed content, ensuring the integration of professional footage with learning design best practices.
About You:
You will come to us with demonstrated experience in video production for learning purposes, including storyboarding, scripting, recording, and post-production editing, as well as:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and other Adobe Creative Suite tools relevant to video and audio production
- Strong working knowledge of AI-based video platforms such as Synthesia for producing voiceover and avatar-led videos
- Experience using animation and explainer tools like Vyond to create visually engaging and educational video content
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design theory, and ability to apply them to video design
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects, managing timelines and meeting delivery expectations
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and project management skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience working within or creating content for a digital learning platform such as Canvas, D2L etc
- Experience in the financial services or professional education sector desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in instructional design, digital media production, education, communication, or a related field highly desirable
