Your responsibility

  • Backend Architecture & Development: You design and develop scalable, performant and secure backend services for our Microsoft Azure based, serverless SaaS application.
  • Cloud & Serverless Excellence: You use the full potential of the Azure platform (Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Storage, etc.) to ensure a modern, highly available architecture.
  • API Design & Integration: You will be responsible for the design, development and optimization of REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless front-end and third-party integrations.
  • DevOps & Automation: You build CI/CD pipelines, optimize existing automations and ensure a stable, efficient deployment process.
  • Quality & Testing: You ensure high software quality through automated tests, monitoring and code reviews.
  • Passion for AI: You see AI as an opportunity to develop better solutions for our customers and increase efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: You work closely with our Frontend Engineers, Product Owners and Architects, contribute new ideas and support younger developers with your knowledge.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: You actively follow new technologies, check their relevance for our architecture and make suggestions for continuous improvement.

Your profile

  • Azure & SaaS know-how: At least 5 years of experience in the development of cloud-based SaaS products, ideally with a focus on Microsoft Azure (Functions, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, Service Bus).
  • Languages & Frameworks: Very good knowledge of C#/.NET Core and experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: In-depth knowledge of infrastructure as code, deployment automation and observability (application insights, logging, monitoring).
  • Testing & Quality: Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, load) and performance optimization.
  • Communication & Leadership: Fluency in English (German a plus), a structured and methodical way of working and the ability to communicate complex topics in an understandable way.
  • Background: Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience with a focus on software architecture and development.
  • Mindset: Passion for quality, ownership and the joy of helping to shape and further develop a product.
