About your role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Crane Operator who will play an integral role within the Maintenance Services team, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and to the highest standard in line with company policies and procedures. Reporting directly to the Supervisor – Crane Base, you will contribute to our Safe, Stable and Sustainable vision by:
- Operating non-slewing and a variety of slewing cranes up to 220t capacity in a safe manner
- Ensuring compliance with rigging procedures and slinging techniques
- Completing crane set-up, rigging and assembly
- Developing and completing lift plans as required
- Ensuring cranes are inspected and operated in a safe manner
- Maintaining cranes in a safe, clean and tidy condition
- Working with the team and communicating with internal customers as required
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you should have:
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A current CO Crane ticket is preferred
- Dogging, Intermediate Rigging and HR licence would be highly regarded but not essential
- Attention to detail and good time management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to self-manage
- Basic computer skills would be highly regarded
