Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and develop Android-based connectivity solutions from concept to release
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Vehicle System Leads to align strategy and technical execution
  • Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, ensuring timely resolutions
  • Translate product requirements into epics and user stories using tools like DOORS or JIRA
  • Work on Android middleware components including services, AIDL, content providers, Car Network/Service, and broadcast receivers
  • Establish effective communication and alignment with internal teams, suppliers, and partners

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in automotive software development
  • Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Android and C/C++ software development
  • Proficiency in Android Automotive, Kotlin, Java, and C/C++
  • Experience in Android middleware development and integration
  • Experience writing and managing requirements using DOORS or JIRA
  • Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and protocols such as MQTT and HTTP
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across internal and external stakeholders

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)

  • Experience working in automotive security domains
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (unit and module testing)
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment using Atlassian tools
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android software delivery
