Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop Android-based connectivity solutions from concept to release
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Vehicle System Leads to align strategy and technical execution
- Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, ensuring timely resolutions
- Translate product requirements into epics and user stories using tools like DOORS or JIRA
- Work on Android middleware components including services, AIDL, content providers, Car Network/Service, and broadcast receivers
- Establish effective communication and alignment with internal teams, suppliers, and partners
Required Skills and Experience
- 3–6 years of experience in automotive software development
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Android and C/C++ software development
- Proficiency in Android Automotive, Kotlin, Java, and C/C++
- Experience in Android middleware development and integration
- Experience writing and managing requirements using DOORS or JIRA
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and protocols such as MQTT and HTTP

Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or related disciplines
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have)
- Experience working in automotive security domains
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (unit and module testing)
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment using Atlassian tools
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Android software delivery
