We are currently recruiting a Passenger Service agent for easyJet airline. A Passenger Service Agent is responsible for assisting passengers and their baggage during the different airport processes of arrival, transit and departure. As a Passenger Service Agent you will need to handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for passengers. While maintaining the highest level of security and safety measures, you must follow company, airline, and airport procedures.

Note this role is for a 29 hour per week contract worked on a shift basis of 6 days on, 3 days off.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-
- Acting as the first point of contact with the airlines customers as they transit through the airport to ensure that a positive and helpful attitude is portrayed at all times
- Ensuring all interactions with the airline customers are always aligned to the airline standards
- Representing the airline and providing an expected level of customer service
- Checking passenger travel documentation at check-in and gate for acceptance
- Identifying non-conforming baggage (exceeding allowances) and charge the passengers at check-in
- Ensuring all stationery, tools, and items are prepared and recovered such as stanchions, baggage sizers, signs, boarding cards, baggage tags and leaflets
- Assisting passengers during flight disruptions (delays, cancellations), overbooking and any other incidence
- Reporting any incidence related to the safety involving passengers, crew, staff, aircraft, baggage, cargo, facilities and equipment
- Ensuring the segregation and recycling of all materials used and residues
- Proposing any action to improve the activity performance
