What You’ll Do
As the Manager of Materials, Planning & Logistics, you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring every product and part gets where it needs to be — on time, every time. You will:
• Own product launch logistics – manage all material and supply chain aspects of new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Champion maintenance readiness – collaborate with engineering to plan preventive maintenance and keep assets running at peak performance.
• Be the voice of the customer – oversee customer portals, uphold all logistics requirements, and ensure expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Deliver with precision – monitor delivery performance, follow up on requirements, and ensure service part orders are scheduled, produced, and shipped flawlessly.
• Lead continuous improvement – drive cross-functional initiatives like 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and optimized material flow to boost efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance & safety – uphold OSHA standards, PPE requirements, and promote a safety-first culture.
• Drive financial discipline – manage departmental budgeting and optimize resources for maximum impact.
• Inspire collaboration – lead and mentor teams while partnering with stakeholders across the organization to achieve operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For
We want a bold, experienced professional who is not just managing logistics — but transforming it.
Education & Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
o Experience in material control and production scheduling.
o Leading material control teams directly.
o SAP expertise is a must.
o APICS CPIM certification strongly desired.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
o Proven success implementing MRP systems in production environments.
o Assertive leader with sharp prioritization and multitasking abilities.
o Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
o Background in automotive Tier-1, cold stamping, or coil steel logistics is highly desirable.
