We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team in Deniliquin. In this hands-on role, you’ll support operations across our Southern Riverina facilities, ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality rice products

 

What you’ll do:

  • Perform planned maintenance and fault diagnosis across multiple sites
  • Proactively repair and maintain machinery to minimise downtime
  • Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
  • Complete safety, quality, and maintenance documentation
  • Promote safe work practices and mentor apprentices
  • Participate in Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiative

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Trade qualifications as a Fitter, Mechanical Fitter, or similar
  • Industrial/production maintenance experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Current Driver’s Licens

 

Bonus skills:

  • Forklift License
  • Dogging qualification
  • Certificates I & II in Pneumatics and Hydraulic

 

Hours:
This is a full-time role on a three-week rotational shift, operating 24/5:

  • Week 1: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm
  • Week 2: Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10pm
  • Week 3: Monday – Friday, 10pm – 6a

 

Availability for extended hours during harvest periods may be required, in line with fatigue management guidelines
