Program Coordinator / Full Time / District Wide

Coordinate and lead collaborative efforts with community partners, school and district staff, and students to implement a range of 1:1 and group mentoring programs. This individual will lead programming that matches mentors with mentees to provide guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing that fosters career development, skill-building, and personal growth for all participants.

Job Description:

Qualifications: Program Coordinator (Mentoring)

? Bachelor’s Degree or higher required (in education, project management, social work or a related field, preferred)
? Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations related to assigned program and related activities
? Knowledge of policies and objectives of assigned program and related activities
? Ability to collaborate and lead others in collaboration
? Experience with organizing and developing community groups
? Excellent oral and written skills
? Well developed group facilitation and training skills

Appropriate computer skills Performance Responsibilities:
? Work cooperatively with district and school staff to implement program and related activities
? Work cooperatively with district and school staff in developing, reviewing and revising program or activity as assigned
? Work cooperatively with district and school staff to assess and address the district’s priorities and needs
? Work cooperatively with district and school staff to obtain information regarding the effectiveness of assigned programs or activities
? Work cooperatively with district and school staff to provide in-service training in the area of assignment
? Manage the daily operations of the program and related activities
? Consults and cooperates with community, schools, businesses, and community organizations to implement the program and related activities
? Facilitates involvement of the community, schools, and businesses in program and related activities
? Coordinates events, community participation and communication among stakeholders
? Keeps complete data, as required, and reports on activities
? Performs related duties, as required, in performing assigned responsibilities
? Coordinate the administration of surveys
? Assists in grant-writing activities
? Assist designated supervisor in short-range and long-range planning as assigned
? Research past and current practices in areas assigned and integrate research in areas of responsibility
? Oversee and direct the work of committees and task forces as assigned
? Provide technical assistance to district and school staff in the areas of assignment
? Assure compliance with local, State and federal regulations and procedures related to area of assignment
? Assure compliance with Board policies, Board procedures, Board goals, objectives and directives related to area of assignment
? Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Reports to: the Superintendent or their designee
Job Goal: Plan, organize, direct, and control all functions centered around the operations of the program and related activities

Salary: Erlanger-Elsmere Pay Grade – 30
