Our Opportunity: Ingredient Control Administrator

Status: Full Time Day Shift

Hours: 8-hour shift, 8am–4:00pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday shifts


Summary

The Ingredient Control Administrator is responsible for completing various administrative responsibilities within the Ingredient Control Department. Reports directly to Ingredient Control Manager.


What You Will Be Doing

· Responsible for kitting preparations.

o Printing/verifying batch sheets against production schedule/ERP system.

o Performing ERP pre-kitting functions.

o Verifying ingredient availability for upcoming runs, communicate any shortages to appropriate departments.

· Completes systematic transactions as necessary to process liquid manufacturing orders.

· Maintains a controlled document repository using the ETQ program. Holds primary responsibility for organized storage of all departmental documents. (LIQKT,SOP,OPL’s,ect…)

· Develops and maintains a system to schedule & track preventive maintenance items.

· Develops and maintains a system to schedule & track calibration and service to equipment by outside vendors (scales, temp readers etc.)

· Develops and maintains a system to schedule & track sanitation process.

· Interprets new product formula recipes and facilitates the assimilation of customer-formatted recipes into CBG NC’s ERP system.

· Reviews, interprets and maintains KPI’s for various aspects of the Ingredient Control department. Submits data to the Ingredient Control Manager on a recurring basis.

· Performs inventory transactions to receive ingredients into a system using Data Collection & SAP

· Utilizes Alchemy software to administrate job training for the Ingredient Control department

· Attends recurring Ingredient Control internal team meetings. Compiles & distributes meeting summaries and action items digitally.

· Develops and maintains a system for inventory of equipment & consumables for the department.

· Creates Purchase Orders and completes associated orders.

· Other duties may be assigned



Minimum Qualifications:

· 2 years of experience in a similar role(s).

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows, and Teams

·


Preferred Qualifications:

· 40+ WPM typing speed preferred

· SAP experience preferred, but not required

· Excellent organizational skills

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Excellent math & problem-solving skills

· Excellent attention to detail

· Able to work alone or as a part of a team

· Able to work overtime as needed

· Able to work with other departments


Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials.

Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold.

The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the Ingredient Control warehouse

Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements

· Must be able to lift to 55 pounds occasionally.
