Essential functions
  • Provide real-time customer support via live chat, addressing inquiries, issues, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Assist customers with troubleshooting, product information, order tracking, and general inquiries in a clear and friendly manner.
  • Manage a high volume of inbound chat and email inquiries while maintaining quality and speed of responses.
  • Identify common customer concerns and provide solutions, or escalate issues to higher-level teams when necessary.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, feedback, and issues in our support system.
  • Contribute to our knowledge base by identifying recurring questions and suggesting helpful content or updates.
  • Assist with other customer support channels (email, etc.) as needed.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by consistently meeting response time and resolution targets.

    Competencies
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Proven customer service experience (preferably in chat support or similar roles).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for helping others.
  • Familiarity with live chat support software or CRM tools (e.g., Zendesk, Freshchat, Intercom) is a plus.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with using various digital tools to assist customers.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
  • Strong de-escalation skills: Ability to manage challenging or upset customers, staying calm and professional while resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Positive attitude and a team player.
