Summary

The Client Solutions Manager (CSM) is responsible for integrating with the client and the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and bridging the gap between client/CRM and Operations. The CSM oversees all aspects of an assigned event to ensure successful execution, producing to budget, and looking for efficiencies. 

 

This position will support our Audio Visual Growth team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

•    Dallas, TX 
•    Orlando, FL 
•    Atlanta, GA 
•    New Orleans, LA 
•    Las Vegas, NV 
•    Nashville, TN 
•    San Antonio, TX

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Client Management :
•    Cultivate and manage existing and new accounts to increase company profitability.
•    Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal teams, facilitating clear and effective communication. 
•    Manage the client’s requirements, expectations, and scope changes.
•    Address and resolve any issues or concerns that clients may have.
•    Requires strong soft skills and excellent communication when interacting with customers and internal colleagues


Event Planning & Execution:
•    Lead and manage events from inception to completion, ensuring successful execution that meets the client’s expectations and are delivered on time.
•    Partner with internal departments and third-party agencies for full event execution.
•    Travel to show locations to oversee event setup, execution and teardown.
•    Participates in all planning meetings and site visits


Technical Expertise:
•    Maintain a thorough knowledge of audio visual technology, industry standards, and company product knowledge.
•    Use company-specific proposal/database systems to prepare and manage job proposals and budgets.
•    Ensure all technical aspects of the event are executed flawlessly, including AV setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
•    Understand Quotebuilder (and future CPQ) (budget responsibility remains with CRM). 
•    Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.


Operational Responsibilities:
•    Provide comprehensive operational oversight to ensure all aspects of the project are running efficiently and effectively.
•    Work with the CRM to translate client requirements into actionable plans and disseminate information to appropriate internal departments.
•    Participate in company sales & operations meetings and assist with site surveys and client visits as needed.
•    Capture on-site additions/changes and have the necessary conversations with the CRM and or customer.
•    Maintain knowledge of all Freeman products and service offerings and assist CRM in upselling to existing clients beyond current contracts.
•    Produce to the budget to help manage costs. 


Pre-Show Responsibilities:
•    Assist with overall production scheduling to align with customer expectations.
•    Facilitate facility/vendor coordination (Electrical, Staging, Network, Diagrams, etc.
•    Act as the technical bridge between sales and operations.
•    Assist in the development and management of project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
•    Define and lead pre-production activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
•    Regularly monitor budgets to reflect changes and ensure financial accuracy with the CRM.


Show Site Responsibilities:
•    Oversee on-site event operations, ensuring smooth execution and addressing any issues that arise.
•    Lead the crew from a technical perspective to ensure timely execution of the event plan.
•    Serve as the escalation point for technical issues or crew questions.
•    Participate and/or facilitate daily meetings with internal and external teams related to the production of the event. 


Post-Show Responsibilities:
•    Participate and/or facilitate internal and external debriefs.
•    Conduct post-show reconciliation, including financial reporting and analysis and ensuring accurate labor and show site additions are captured accordingly to ensure all expenses are accounted for and within budget.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Required:
•    2 or more years of related sales, account management, or project management experience.
•    Experience in the audio visual industry.
•    Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
•    Ability to learn multiple internal and external systems.
•    Ability to successfully manage multiple events simultaneously.
•    Working knowledge of all Google, Adobe and Microsoft software applications.


Preferred:
•    Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required
