Role - Executive - Quality
Location: Ambas, India
Role Purpose
Coordinate and learn from brands (e.g., Decathlon, H&M, Bestseller, Target, M&S, etc.).
Understand and implement KPI’s, Customer Specific Requirements (CSR), brand-specific reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly), inspection systems, and third-party lab testing.
Deploy customer requirements and ensure compliance with brand-specific systems.
Prepare and monitor Process FMEA, Product FMEA, CCP, and CCP action plans with manufacturing teams.
Ensure deployment and progress monitoring of Seven Fundamental Quality Tools and Five Quality Core Tools.
Coordinate QMS certification process at Ambas site (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, OEKO TEX Standard 100, BRC Issue 06, GOTS & GRS), and support other sites in India.
Handle purchase requests and bill payments.
Conduct training for FMEA, CCP, quality tools, and refresher sessions for new recruits and existing manufacturing teams.
Manage customer compliance requirements and act as a brand management representative.
Oversee internal audits (scheduling, verification, and closure of non-conformance).
Coordinate external audit non-conformance closures.
Principal Accountabilities & Key Activities
Creation and updation of manuals for Ambas site and QAD.
Coordinate certification processes with relevant departments.
Act as Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 and BRC.
Serve as 6S Auditor for Ambas departments.
Core member of HACCP team.
Ensure safety compliance in working areas.
Plan and execute internal audit schedules.
Coordinate Management Review meetings and circulate minutes.
Update quality trend boards (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
Circulate reports to concerned departments and brands.
Update/create SOPs as needed.
Correct product specifications as per QA advice.
Train manufacturing teams on brand requirements.
Assign and monitor training for QA operators.
Improve adoption rate of brand queries.
Send product safety reports to customers.
Conduct 6S audits regularly.
Ensure knowledge and implementation of:
Energy/resource conservation practices
Waste management systems
Environmental plan objectives (Air, Waste management system plan)
Review and update FMEA, CCP, QC tools, QA core tools, environmental aspects, and safety hazards upon process changes.
Manage internal calibration for manufacturing equipment.

Education, Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Graduate in Textile
3–5 years’ experience in garment manufacturing
Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes
Proficiency in:
ISO management systems
Seven Quality Tools and Five Quality Core Tools
Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Dashboard, PowerPoint, SAP
Good communication skills (written & verbal) in Tamil and English
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
Desirable:
3+ years of relevant garment manufacturing experience
