Job Purpose:
Caterpillar is looking for Keller & Arlington ISD high school students to get on-the-job experience. We want to give students opportunities to build upon their academic knowledge and apply it in a corporate environment.
Opportunities are available in the following areas:
- Accounting
- Human Resources
- Talent Acquisition
- Information Technology (Cybersecurity)
- Risk and Compliance (Electrification and Energy Solutions)
- Marketing
- Sales
- Purchasing/Procurement
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a cumulative 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale as reflected on the official transcript (no rounding).
- Must be 16 years of age at the time of application.
- A full-time student currently enrolled as a senior in high school.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a student from Keller Independent School District or Arlington Independent School District – Texas

Technical Knowledge
- Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Sharepoint
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and database tools such as SQL, Python and/or other Visualization tools are a plus
Additional Details
- On-site (6-12 hours/week)
- One opening in Accounting located on-site at the Fort Worth SPM facility
- All other opportunities are on-site in Irving, Texas
- Relocation assistance is not offered for this position
Summary Pay Range:
$15.00 - $17.50Intern Hour Rate:
An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
