Description:
Mars Area School District is seeking a highly qualified Long-Term Substitute Assistant High School Principal to serve at the High School during the 2025-2026 school year. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced educational leader to support students, staff, and the school community in a collaborative and positive environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Principal (K-12) Certification (required)

• Previous administrative experience in a high school setting (preferred)

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and community partners

• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school climate

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the High School Principal in daily operations and instructional leadership

• Supporting teacher development and student achievement initiatives

• Managing student discipline, attendance, and behavior interventions

• Coordinating school events, safety protocols, and extracurricular activities

• Serving as a liaison between school and community stakeholders
