Summary:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading a team of professionals responsible for attraction, sourcing & selection of high performing talent for a growing credit union, in addition to conducting searches for leadership and critical roles.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field or eight years of recruiting/talent experience including contemporary full-cycle recruitment required
Minimum five years hands on experience with full cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates, screening/interviewing candidates and negotiating offers
1 - 3 years supervisory experience preferred
1 – 3 years experience producing foundational metrics to continually improve the effectiveness of the team and quality of hires
Strong knowledge of ATS system capabilities
Travel locally requirement: 10-15% for Career Fairs and College Recruiting
Extensive knowledge of the function and HR practices/policies/systems and related laws/ regulations/reporting requirements
Demonstrated knowledge of various recruiting techniques, and experience in online/social media recruiting
Experience with developing networks/partnerships to actively build database/pipeline
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Strong work planning, time-management, organization, and prioritization skills
Ability to influence and drive results in a fast pace environment
Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent
Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint required
Strong oral/written communication, interpersonal, detail orientation and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management required
Job Responsibilities:
Implements and manages talent acquisition strategies and processes to proactively build and maintain a quality talent pipeline by sourcing passive and active candidates
Analyzes current and future organizational workforce needs and implements plans to ensure quality staffing continuity working directly with hiring managers and leaders throughout the organization
Assess and recommend opportunities to drive efficiencies within ATS systems, recruitment processes, sourcing options
Create programs to improve hiring manager effectiveness, ensuring a branded, high quality consistent approach across all teams
Produce actionable data insights, leveraging internal and external data
Manages 3rd party vendor relationships
Conduct executive, senior leadership searches
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations as it relates to talent acquisition
Oversees background, drug, credit screening process
Interacts and builds relationships with candidates, managers and senior leadership to ensure smooth transition of talent from a passive or active candidate to a new employee
Leverages creative, economical, and effective sources/channels and methods
Understands external labor market conditions and establishes networks to build relationships with candidates, agencies, schools/colleges/universities, and associations and attract diverse quality talent
Engages and promotes community outreach efforts in order to promote Teachers as an employer of choice
Operates with a high level of independent judgement and engagement with exposure to all levels of the organization
Performs all duties inherent in the role of a manager

The good faith range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
