Title: HR Assistant (Internal)

Position Summary
The HR Assistant supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by providing administrative, clerical, and coordination assistance across a variety of HR functions. This role helps ensure HR processes run smoothly, employees receive timely assistance, and company policies are applied consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
- Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and correspondence
- Assist with data entry and document management
- Post job openings
- Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
- Prepare offer agreements for selected candidates
- Set up and coordinate new hire orientation
- Prepare new hire paperwork, facilitate orientation, and support a smooth onboarding process
- Manage offboarding activities, including exit interviews, collection of company assets, and processing final paperwork
- Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment changes
- Coordinate with benefit providers for updates and issue resolution
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information
- Respond to basic HR inquiries and direct complex matters to the HR Manager
- Help organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs
- Ensure proper documentation for compliance with labor laws and company policies
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
- Support special HR projects as assigned
- Assist with HR reporting and analytics
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of HR, administrative, or office experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Preferred experience with ClickUp project management software and Rippling HRIS
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Remote flexibility
- Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer for the majority of the day
