Position Summary

The HR Assistant supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department by providing administrative, clerical, and coordination assistance across a variety of HR functions. This role helps ensure HR processes run smoothly, employees receive timely assistance, and company policies are applied consistently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems
  • Prepare HR-related documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Assist with data entry and document management
  • Post job openings
  • Coordinate interviews and candidate communication
  • Prepare offer agreements for selected candidates
  • Set up and coordinate new hire orientation
  • Prepare new hire paperwork, facilitate orientation, and support a smooth onboarding process
  • Manage offboarding activities, including exit interviews, collection of company assets, and processing final paperwork
  • Assist employees with benefit questions and enrollment changes
  • Coordinate with benefit providers for updates and issue resolution
  • Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information
  • Respond to basic HR inquiries and direct complex matters to the HR Manager
  • Help organize employee engagement activities and recognition programs
  • Ensure proper documentation for compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times
  • Support special HR projects as assigned
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of HR, administrative, or office experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace 
  • Preferred experience with ClickUp project management software and Rippling HRIS
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Remote flexibility
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer for the majority of the day
