Middle School Mathematics Teacher - Helena Middle School

As a Middle School Mathematics Teacher, you will work as part of a team that serves nearly 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena.  These positions serve a 187 day contract scheduled for 7 hours a day.  Starting base salary range is $42,872 - $67,750 based on education and experience in addition to a competitive benefit plan including but not limited to sick and personal leave, health benefit plan with options for dental and vision coverage, life insurance, a section 125 plan, numerous tax sheltered annuity options and tuition reimbursement.  Long term disabilty, short term disabilityand long term care insurance is also available.

Some of what you will do:

• Teach district approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional material.
• Provide individualized and small group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.

• This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between the Helena School District and Helena Education Association.
• Prior to employment, you must successfully complete the appropriate background check required for employment.
