Position Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee compensation-related decisions for new hires, promotions, and internal equity adjustments, ensuring alignment with organizational guidelines and market data.
- Manage the administration of annual compensation programs, including merit increases, short-term incentives (STI), and profit-sharing distributions.
- Analyze internal and external compensation data to identify trends, address pay equity concerns, and support strategic decision-making.
- Build and maintain the annual merit cycle within the Workday HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all compensation-related inquiries, providing guidance and resolving complex issues.
- Deliver training and resources to leaders and HR partners on compensation philosophy, tools, and processes.
- Participate in and analyze results from compensation surveys to inform benchmarking and market competitiveness.
- Provide compensation analysis and recommendations to Talent Acquisition for recruitment and internal mobility.
- Develop and maintain documentation for compensation processes, policies, and procedures.
- Lead a job evaluation team, providing onboarding and ongoing training to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with HRIS & payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of compensation changes.
- Support the Company’s Security and Safety Management System (SMS), including Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in compensation, including program design and administration.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and compensation modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with compensation survey tools and methodologies.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
- Workday HRIS experience.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar.

Supervisory Responsibility: This is not a supervisory position.
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to the Director of Talent Management.
