Seasons CNA Job Summary
At Elderwood at Williamsville the Seasons CNA assists with ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing resident related support services as well as therapeutic and social programming to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents.
Responsibilities
Seasons CNA Essential Job Functions
- Follow plan of care in daily interaction with residents and report changes, appropriately.
- Inform nurse after monitoring fluid intake and output and other services or tasks as assigned.
- Maintaining familiarity with and protecting rights of residents.
- Ensuring that all residents are treated with respect and kindness by staff.
- Reporting to nurse in charge about facility equipment that needs repair, unsafe conditions in room or unit area, or personal needs of residents.
- Showing respect for personal possessions of residents and helping maintain an orderly and pleasant environment for residents during Seasons.

Qualifications
Seasons CNA Essential Educational Requirements and Qualifications
- Eighteen (18) years of age required.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Registration in the State Nurse Aide Registry required.
- Active on the State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment and misappropriation of property.
- Experience with dementia population desired.
Seasons CNA Skills and Competencies
- Ability to verbally communicate well with residents; families or agents; team mates and other departments required.
- Ability to read and understand task assignments, and to report verbally and record care in writing required.
- Display of genuine concern for the elderly; a dependable, patient and compassionate attitude towards residents required.
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
