The City of Minot is looking for an experienced and driven leader to serve as its next City Manager. This position is open to all qualified internal and external applicants and has an application deadline of Thursday, August 28th 2025.
Nature of Work
This is highly responsible executive level work involving the planning, directing and coordinating the work of city departments, services and functional units on behalf of the City Council. Work is performed under the policy direction and oversight of the City Council. This position provides executive direction to department heads and support staff. Education, Experience, Other Requirements
- Possession of a bachelor's degree in business or public administration (a master's degree is desirable) or related field
- Broad and diversified managerial experience in planning and directing major programs of local public or private organizations; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Compensation and Benefits
- The assigned salary range for the position of City Manager under the 2025 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 98, with an annual salary range of $142,612-$211,711 annually.
- This is a full time, Exempt position not eligible for overtime.
