THE POSITION
Key responsibilities and oversights of the Training Site Venue Transport Supervisor for the FIFA World Cup 26™ include:
- Ensure cost-effective and efficient operations at training sites.
- Assist the Manager in developing plans and budgets while managing all operational activities for Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
- Create comprehensive Transport Plans for all FIFA constituents at Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
- Help develop interim access plans for FIFA Club World Cup Training Sites.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to secure necessary agreements and approvals.
- Collaborate with all FIFA26 Functional Areas and transport systems to align plans with overall transport proposals.
- Assist managing contracted staff at each Training Site
- Coordinate with Security to ensure transport plans are integrated with security measures at all Venue Specific Training Sites and Team Base Camp Training Sites.
- Create walkthroughs, testing, and readiness exercise plans.
- Support the delivery of transport services for all test events leading up to the FIFA World Cup 2026

Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transport, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
- Master’s Degree is an additional asset
- Minimum of 3 years Transport work experience: ideally within the football, sport, event or two (2) years of experience as a Venue Transport Manager, or two (2) years equivalent management position.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from support staff, managers, and clients. Individual must be motivated, capable of working independently, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Venue, sites and facilities operation experience within at least one mega project event, ideally more than one world class sport event (e.g. FIFA World Cup and / or Olympic Games, Regional Football Tournaments, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of transit operations involved in moving FIFA Constituents by vehicles, including city layout
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software including Monday.com and online collaboration tools
