Who We're Looking For
We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, knowledge of equipment used, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays, proper animal handling and restraint, surgical assisting experience, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and motivating team member.

The hourly pay band for this position is $25.00 - $27.00, this varies depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
Requirements
- Registered Veterinary Technician (license must be current)
- 4+ years of veterinary experience (required)
- Must be available Saturdays (mandatory)
- Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
- Passion for working with animals and their owners
- Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
- Obtaining accurate and thorough medical histories
- TPR
- Assisting the doctor and other technical staff with restraint
- Blood draws (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
- Placing IV catheters
- Digital radiology, including positioning.
- Dentistry (digital x-rays, scaling, polishing)
- Anesthesia (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic technique)
- Laboratory skills such as ear and fecal cytology, HM5, Vetscan, Sedivue
- Excellent client communication/education
- Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
- Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
