Let's make history together?We are seeking a dynamic Country Manager to lead our growth and diversification efforts in Peru. This role demands a solid background in the financial, payments, e-commerce and tech industries, with hands-on experience working within project groups in these sectors. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth market knowledge, excellent relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and foster relationships with merchants, partners, suppliers, and the local ecosystem.
  • Achieve profit targets by segment for new sales and upgrades, mainly by guaranteeing that the Company has a solid set of partners with competitive cost and high level of performance.
  • Develop and lead promotional initiatives leveraging local payment methods.
  • Devise and execute activation strategies to decrease gross profit concentration at the country level.
  • Expand the merchant base, forge partnerships, and explore new business channels.
  • Represent EBANX at regional events and develop local partnerships with acquirers, banks, government agencies, and shareholders.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place to address any potential market challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling escalations as needed.
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Native Spanish and fluent in English
  • Strong background in the financial, payment, e-commerce, or tech industries.
  • Experience working in project groups within the financial/payments sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of market intelligence and account management in complex environments.
  • Experience working with payment processing or acquirer systems
  • Candidates should be open to an on-site work culture, initially from a co-working space, with the potential for a dedicated office as the team grows.
