Position SummaryThe Full-Time Online Core Faculty member performs duties relating to online instruction, student support, curriculum development, university service, and engaged scholarship. The Full-Time Online Core Faculty member assists the program chair with program-specific needs. The Full-Time Online Core Faculty member contributes to advancing university, college, and program goals through university engagement and professional development.Essential Job Duties

  • Instruct classes and adhere to all faculty requirements such as facilitating and engaging in classroom discussion boards, providing individualized instructive feedback to students, grading assignments and responding to student inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Develop and revise courses in accordance with university standards and requirements.
  • Perform Lead Faculty duties including course oversight, instructional quality reviews, and associate faculty mentoring.
  • Collaborate within the University community to ensure a positive overall experience for all University students and colleagues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Chair, Assistant Dean, and University leadership in support of student success, student progression in the degree program, program goals, and the university’s mission.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Expertise in Applied Behavior Science and Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Experience in designing university courses and Applied Behavior Analysis course sequences to meet the requirements of Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BACB’s)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different individuals and groups
  • Ability to follow university policies in handing student and employee information, data, and records
  • Experience in using current technology (MS Office, Canvas, Zoom, etc.)
  • Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large and small groups
  • Ability to demonstrate in commitment in principle and practice to the university’s mission and Culture of Care pillars
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Psychology, Behavior Science, Applied Behavior Analysis or a closely-related field, from regionally accredited institution
  • Minimum of four years of full-time college teaching experience
  • Educational and professional work experience in Applied Behavior Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Experience in designing university courses and Applied Behavior Analysis course sequences to meet the requirements of Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s (BACB’s)
