🐝 About the team

You’ll be part of a Pan-European Data Team that operates in an Agile environment. You’ll work closely — but fully remotely — with data engineers and data analysts from Germany, France, the Netherlands, Poland, and other European locations. Our team has recently built a cutting-edge tech stack using the best tools in the market. We aim to provide end-to-end data services, from data collection to decision support, through a federated data team model.

💥 Your impact

• Create metrics and build data pipelines, transforming raw data into valuable insights for critical decision-making
• Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover insights and trends within the data using state-of-art data science tools
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management and support your stakeholders with data driven decision consultancy
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, finance, and operations to support their analytics need
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses, solutions and reports.
• Translate business knowledge to data models for analytics and reporting needs.

💻 Technology stack

• Primary: DBT, Databricks, Tableau, AWS Kinesis, Github
• Secondary: Terraform, MongoDB, Event-sourcing

🕵🏻‍♀️ To succeed, you should meet at least 70% of these requirements

• +6 years of professional experience in data science/analysis, data engineering, and business intelligence
• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• Knowledge of applied machine learning techniques
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R
• Experience with collaborative CI/CD using GitHub
• Excellent data-oriented problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong presentation skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in English (CEFR C1 or C2); French, German or Dutch or any additional European languages is a plus
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization is a plus
• Experience in the payment processing industry is a plus
