Homeoffice Senior DevOps Engineer with verification

Job Description We are a global ed-tech company that is based in the heart of Toronto and we are looking to bring on another full-time DevOps Engineer to join our team of 4. We recently acquired a couple other organizations, and you will be the DevOps Engineer that will take ownership of the migration project to our own stack. We are an AWS-shop running Terraform and Kubernetes for deployments and leveraging Grafana and Prometheus for monitoring and alerting.

We are looking for someone that will be excited to take ownership of new projects, not be afraid to wear the leadership hat, and join a team of experienced Engineers that is always looking to expand their skillsets. This is an opportunity to get a taste of leadership role but also remain hands-on as we are always looking for our Engineers to constantly learn new things and grow within the company. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, or in a similar role
• Expert in building, migrating to, and managing infrastructures in AWS, Azure, or GCP, preferably AWS.
• Experience setting up and deploying infrastructure as code using AWS Cloudformation, AWS CDK, Terraform, Pulumi, or OpenTofu.
• Familiar with managing containers using container orchestration tools such as ECS, Fargate, EKS, AKS, GKE, or Openshift.
