Description
We are in search of a Programmer Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a Programmer Analyst, your role will involve both web design and development, and you will work closely with our customers to implement updates and upgrades. This role is part of a contract, long-term contract and offers an opportunity to work within the tech industry, specifically focusing on HTML, JavaScript, and Python Flask.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using HTML, JavaScript, and Python Flask.
Collaborate with end users to understand their needs and implement upgrades and updates accordingly.
Work on the ArcGIS Cloud platform to support various tasks and processes.
Continuously improve existing code to enhance website performance and user experience.
Collaborate with the team to design and develop new features for the web platform.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web design and development.
Ensure website compatibility across different browsers and platforms.
Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and propose solutions to technical issues.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies.
Requirements
Must possess strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, Python, and Python Flask
Demonstrated ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work
Prior experience as a Programmer Analyst is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with the latest industry trends
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
