Data Science Modeler
We are seeking a creative, collaborative Data Science Modeler to join our innovative team. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs and opportunities to apply data science techniques. Data Science Modeler
We are seeking a creative, collaborative Data Science Modeler to join our innovative team. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to understand needs and opportunities to apply data science techniques. Your models, analytics, and visualizations will provide actionable insights to enhance clinical quality, patient safety, and efficiency.
In This Role You Will
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design, build, and implement data science models and applications
- Apply predictive modeling, machine learning, data analytics, and data visualization to uncover insights
- Synthesize complex problems and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Develop specifications to support new and enhanced data science projects
- Evaluate projects and systems to ensure high quality solutions that meet department and organizational goals
- Serve as the critical link between clinical needs and technical capabilities
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with our systems and provide guidance to leadership
- Perform related duties as required
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 2+ years experience with quantitative data analysis and working with clinical data, data science, and machine learning
- Knowledge of medical information technology concepts including terminologies, ontologies, and EHRs
- Expertise with SQL, Python, R, or related languages
- Understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, clustering, classification, and optimization techniques
Pay: $50-$60/hr DOE
