HubSpot is looking for an experienced and results-driven Principal Brand and Awareness Marketing Manager to join our European Marketing team. In this job, you will play a pivotal role in driving awareness and growth for this key region.

You’ll work alongside the European marketing team to lead all strategic brand efforts to increase awareness and understanding of HubSpot as the customer platform for scaling businesses, its products, people and major milestones across Europe.

In This Role, You’ll Get To

  • Lead all strategic PR & brand efforts to increase awareness and understanding of HubSpot as the CRM platform for scaling businesses, its products, people and major milestones.
  • Develop authentic and highly contextual regional campaigns and stories that educate the market, raise visibility, enhance market penetration and help position HubSpot as a scaling solution for scaling businesses.
  • Manage PR agencies in UK, Benelux, and DACH regions: Oversee and coordinate PR agency partnerships in key European markets to ensure alignment with HubSpot's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute playbooks for leveraging various channels and platforms, including podcasts, events, social media, and speaking opportunities in collaboration with regional marketers, to maximise brand visibility and engagement.
  • Build and execute best-in-class thought leadership programs for local spokespeople to elevate their visibility and credibility in top-tier avenues, including conferences, podcasts, media appearances and more.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership across EMEA to define the EMEA brand and awareness strategy
  • Collaborate closely with the customer marketing team to showcase and amplify customer success stories, turning advocates into powerful brand ambassadors to reach wider audiences.
  • Oversee any brand campaigns in region, working closely with our central brand team to ensure we’re rolling out relevant campaigns per market
  • Conduct reporting and analytical activities: Monitor and analyse performance metrics, track and measure PR and brand initiatives' effectiveness, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

We’re Looking For People Who

  • Has solid experience (7-10 years) in PR, brand marketing and storytelling in EMEA (most importantly in the UK and Germany)
  • Is experienced and comfortable working with senior-level execs and developing thought leadership platforms.
  • Experience working with central and regional teams, bringing the global message and adapting it to fit each region
  • Thrives on change, able to work in a fast-paced environment and quick to adapt and pivot as required.
  • Is a creative storyteller, able to see opportunities where they may not be obvious; tapped into all things tech/customer experience.
  • Proven experience developing your own campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels to support business goals. We measure the impact of our awareness work closely and are looking for demonstrated experience in tying creative ideas back to business objectives and KPIs.
  • You need to be as comfortable with the tactical as the strategic. Along with developing these plans, you will also be the person executing them.
  • Are a team player. The European team is highly innovative and collaborative - you’ll contribute with your ideas and collaborate on regional projects, but are equally comfortable working autonomously on your own scope of work.
  • Pride yourself on your outstanding written and verbal communications skills - you’ve got strong attention to detail and can write and edit for a range of mediums - from bylines and press releases, to video scripts and podcast briefs.
  • Have exceptional organisational and project management skills - we move quickly, often work asynchronously and work across multiple projects. Strong organisational skills and experience using tools like Asana and Slack will serve you very well.
