We have a brilliant new opportunity for an Associate MI Data Analyst to join our British Gas Services & Solutions business. This role sits within our Partner Customer Delivery (PCD) team working with contracted partners. In this role you will provide the business with reporting, insight and tools to improve customer service, payments, growth, efficiency and safety.
Location: With our Flexible First working arrangements we empower our colleagues to work in a way that best suits them – meaning location doesn’t need to be a barrier. This role can be mostly based at home with occasional meetings required at our Centrica sites.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain, update and improve existing Power BI reporting suite including Boiler Service & Repair, Boiler Installs, SMART Meters, and Net Zero products.
- Support commercial teams with payment reporting.
- Use insight to provide partners, field and office management with opportunities to improve on current performance.
- Work with auditors, providing the data and insight needed to maintain the integrity of the business.
- Support future projects and system improvement initiatives as a data and insight expert.
- Run incentive schemes to reward partners for excellent customer service.
- Present findings and complex topics to senior leaders to help ensure the business invests its efforts in the right places.
- Knowledge and experience of analysing, managing and interpreting data relating to field operations and commercial entities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power BI Desktop and experience in using it to analyse data and create reports is desirable.
- Knowledge of SQL/Excel beneficial.
- Knowledge of business statistics beneficial.
- Attention to detail to sense check and validate the data to maintain the integrity of the insight.
- Succinct communication style in delivering data driven insight to assist with understanding the customer base.
- A friendly, approachable yet resilient and tenacious individual; able to build strong relationships across the network without compromising on the message to be delivered.
- Willing to learn and implement new technologies.
