The Role
As a Software Development Engineer in our escalation team, you will be crucial in supporting our Privilege Access Management suite of products. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Engineer who enjoys the challenge of solving tough issues in a dynamic environment. The Role
As a Software Development Engineer in our escalation team, you will be crucial in supporting our Privilege Access Management suite of products. What You’ll Do
- Work directly with the Engineering and Support departments to investigate, troubleshoot and triage complex, code-related technical issues, gather product feedback, implement code fixes and build patches.
- Attempt re-create customer reported defects with the help of QA Engineers
- Join calls with Support Engineers to help with advanced troubleshooting efforts
- Create and update knowledge base and frequently asked questions articles
- Create hotfixes across various product versions
- Continually maintain detailed tracking of work activities in Jira
- Maintain a development environment
- Participate in developing new processes
- 2+ Years’ experience in software development
- Track record of developing high quality code in C#
- Proficiency in MSSQL databases, RDBMS
- Knowledge of MS Windows operations
- Experience working in a cross functional team to ship releases
- Able to communicate, collaborate and work in effectively in a distributed team
- Experience using or managing virtualization environments using VMWare Workstation or ESXi
- Great troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, C code, Windows Services, Active Directory, LDAP/S, SAML, COM, ADSI, Windows Device Drivers, Oracle Databases, Linux OS
- Experience with client/server architectures, RPC, IPC, and Named Pipes
- Experience in developing security software
- Secure coding practices, and knowledge of operating system security architecture
- Experience in developing enterprise software
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
