We are seeking a dynamic DevOps Manager with extensive AWS experience to lead our DevOps team and optimize our cloud infrastructure. As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS infrastructure, leading automation initiatives, and ensuring seamless collaboration between development and operations teams. Your expertise in AWS services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipeline automation will be crucial in driving efficiency and reliability across our cloud environments. You will also play a key role in mentoring and guiding the DevOps team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and project management teams to foster an efficient and effective environment that drives the company’s growth and innovation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor the DevOps team, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and provide feedback and coaching to team members. Promote continuous learning and professional development within the team.
• Lead and manage complex DevOps projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps initiatives with business goals.
• Manage and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Amazon MQ, and CloudFormation to support development and operational needs.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or other similar tools to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Set up and manage monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability. Create and maintain alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
• Implement and enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security. Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Mentor and guide DevOps team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. Facilitate effective communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Identify areas for improvement within DevOps processes and implement solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
  
  

Experience We Want to See

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, with a strong focus on AWS.
• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Manager.
• Demonstrated expertise in hands-on management and optimization of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Amazon MQ, CloudFormation) to support both development and operational needs.
• Strong skills in automating infrastructure management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience writing automation scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or Datadog.
• Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience with Linux/Windows based cloud infrastructures.
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in MySQL and T-SQL database administration are a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
