About the job

Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Provide a high level of technical support for our customers.
  • Undertake daily customer service calls for breakdown/repair/service.
  • Ensure complete Customer satisfaction with a prompt response & solution to their queries/issues.
  • Preparing documentation and submitting service reports through Service app.
  • Work pro- actively at building relationships with Customers to generate extra business.
  • Where appropriate initiate sales enquiries and forward to Sales team.
  • Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements, where deemed appropriate.
  • Monitoring inventory in the van and reordering materials when needed.
  • Oversee maintenance and upkeep of Company vehicle, maintain service logs, ensure NCT compliance & review daily vehicle lists & take corrective action if required.
  • Flexibility with working hours & working locations and available for overtime and on call rota when/if required.
  • Keep technical skills up to date.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Technical qualification in Engineering / Senior Trade /Apprenticeship.
  • Knowledgeable about dairy machines and equipment.
  • Farming background an advantage.
  • Attention to detail & accuracy essential.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques and be deadline driven.
  • Be Computer Literate- have a very good knowledge of Excel.
  • Full driving license.
