About the job
Duties & Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Provide a high level of technical support for our customers.
- Undertake daily customer service calls for breakdown/repair/service.
- Ensure complete Customer satisfaction with a prompt response & solution to their queries/issues.
- Preparing documentation and submitting service reports through Service app.
- Work pro- actively at building relationships with Customers to generate extra business.
- Where appropriate initiate sales enquiries and forward to Sales team.
- Providing recommendations about new features and product improvements, where deemed appropriate.
- Monitoring inventory in the van and reordering materials when needed.
- Oversee maintenance and upkeep of Company vehicle, maintain service logs, ensure NCT compliance & review daily vehicle lists & take corrective action if required.
- Flexibility with working hours & working locations and available for overtime and on call rota when/if required.
- Keep technical skills up to date.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Technical qualification in Engineering / Senior Trade /Apprenticeship.
- Knowledgeable about dairy machines and equipment.
- Farming background an advantage.
- Attention to detail & accuracy essential.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques and be deadline driven.
- Be Computer Literate- have a very good knowledge of Excel.
- Full driving license.
