What you’ll do 

We are looking for a Pega Lead System Architect responsible for end-to-end Pega solution design, platform upgrades and stabilization, and integration of Pega with external services. In this role, you will be leading technical delivery across environments (dev/test/prod), defines architecture standards, drive Pega Constellation adoption, and ensure high availability, performance and security of the Pega platform and its integrations.

Due to the secure nature of this role, we are looking for candidates that has Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance at minimum.

Key Responsibilities:

•      Lead solution architecture and detailed design for Pega-based applications using Pega Constellation.

•      Plan and execute Pega platform upgrades and migrations with minimal business impact.

•      Design, implement and operationalize integrations with external services (Kafka, ElasticSearch).

•      Define platform standards, reuse patterns, and CI/CD/deployment strategies for multi-environment landscapes.

•      Mentor and guide CSSAs/System Architects and development teams; conduct design and code reviews.

•      Collaborate with product owners, infrastructure, security and operations teams to align architecture with business and compliance needs.

Here’s what you need:

• Pega Certified Lead System Architect (LSA)
• 6+ years of experience with Pega platform implementations
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation
• Proven experience in planning and executing Pega platform upgrades
• Experience with application servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat)
• Team management experience
• Excellent stakeholder management, technical leadership and communication skills
• Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance at minimum
