Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and engineering drawings for boiler pressure parts and associated components using CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design specifications meet customer requirements and safety standards.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to validate design concepts before production.
• Review and modify existing designs to improve performance and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers and CAD technicians.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of design standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the boiler or pressure vessel industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools).
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to think critically about design challenges.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
