About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance services using modern backend technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop backend services using Python and Node.js
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Design and optimize databases using PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Containerize services using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–9 years of experience in backend software development
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js
  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Redis
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
