We have a creative and collaborative work environment, and all of our employees have meaningful equity in the company.A Bit About The Role…We are looking for an energetic, hands-on product manager to ensure we deliver on customer expectations as we implement and introduce new capabilities to market that set Solink apart in the industry. If you are excited about collecting and analyzing data, translating strategy into actionable plans, and exploring new opportunities to drive impactful results, then this role is for you. You'll be instrumental in defining the future of the physical security market, driving forward new product lines that redefine standards.As a contributing member of the product team in a fast-paced environment, you will be a key driver - gaining insight and organizing priorities from various stakeholders such as our users, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations to aid in communicating information to our engineering team through design and user validation. You will help define our product roadmap, ensure we deliver on our commitments, and "Make the Magic happen" by delivering innovative solutions, including exploring new cutting-edge product opportunities that have the potential to transform the industry.WHO YOU ARE:

  • You have 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, with a background in both software and hardware products.
  • You understand IoT and hardware integration, with hands-on experience navigating the challenges of combining physical and digital solutions.
  • You excel at translating strategy into actionable plans with clear milestones.
  • You make data-driven decisions, consistently delivering on time and within budget.
  • You’re comfortable with numbers and understand a product’s impact on business operations.
  • You thrive in a hands-on role, embracing uncertainty and getting things done.
  • You’re a collaborative team player with strong emotional intelligence.
  • You communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • You’re empathetic, user-focused, and committed to making a real impact.
  • You bring an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset to delivering innovative solutions.
Bonus if you...
  • Have previous experience in security, video surveillance or computer vision.
  • Have a computer science or engineering background.
  • Truly enjoy delivering fantastic solutions that make customers and partners happy.
  • You possess technical understanding of data, data structures, AI/ML, and APIs … and you love bringing these concepts to life in exciting products that add value for customers and partners.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
  • Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Define and guide requirements for Solink’s product strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Drive products end-to-end, from inception to deployment, collaborating closely with all departments including Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Support, and Operations.
  • Plan and manage the product roadmap, setting clear priorities, ensuring alignment with other product teams and engineering, and communicating effectively to streamline development.
  • Define feature requirements and work closely with product designers, developers, and suppliers to deliver customer-oriented solutions that drive real value and align with customer needs.
  • Engage with internal teams and customers to understand various integration needs, requirements, and critical business questions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, focusing on fast, iterative progress while keeping expectations clear and meeting deadlines.
  • Focus on delivering secure, reliable outcomes that meet deadlines and drive sustainable growth.
