The Operations Coordinator provides administrative and technical support for the Construction Team providing general clerical, data entry, data tracking, and project-based work including but not limited to information regarding projects.  

Essential/Possible Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with various departments on assignments.
  • Prepare correspondence, documentation, and other materials.
  • Take detailed notes during meetings or type/transcribe and edit memos and notes provided from meetings.
  • Create, organize, and maintain project filing system. Keep project files up to date daily.
  • Ability to take verbal direction and translate the direction into actionable steps that are quickly documented and circulated to confirm alignment of all parties involved.
  • Assist with coordination and scheduling of tasks.
  • Work directly with other departments/internal teams to collect, convey, and enter data into files, forms and systems related to the project. 
  • Complete weekly reports timely and accurately.
  • Create and maintain performance metrics that measure the effectiveness of field support as well as other metrics for the departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Must be proactive and take the initiative to acquire new assignments when assigned work is completed
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • High proficiency with Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook
  • Strong work ethic, able to work independently with desire to learn and improve
  • Promote teamwork within the department as well as companywide with a positive, cooperative attitude and willingness to take on additional duties as directed
  • Occasional site visits to gain in-the-field experience and training 

Education and Experience:

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass all pre-employment checks including Motor Vehicle record, background, and substance screen. 
  • Associates Degree in Administrative Management preferred or relevant experience
