Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from eighth grade. Some experience working with children or as a lifeguard desirable. ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS: CPR Certification Current certification as Lifeguard by a recognized source of training The following items are not required at the time of application but will be required of the selected applicant prior to employment: Copy of Valid Driver's License, Department of Justice Fingerprint clearance, Tuberculosis clearance & Pre-Employment Physical/Drug Screen clearance Must be at least 18 years of age.
