Whatwe are looking for:
We are looking for a professional and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our Hygieneteam. You will maintain and drive the Hygiene standardsacross ER2 and LFR, via direct management of the Hygiene teams. To fully implement and maintain the requiredhygiene systems that control and drive both the standards required by Hiltonand our retail customers.
As a Hygiene Manager some of theresponsibilities will be to:
- To verify and measure the delivery of the hygiene standards across the site (for LR this also includes Russell’s) ensuring standards are maintained and in line with both customer and Hilton requirements.
- To ensure monthly verification audits are in place to validate these standards, supported with an annual review that demonstrates any trends within the data and the preventative measures implemented to prevent a reoccurrence.
- To manage the Day Hygiene team (ER2 only), ensuring that there are robust training and succession plans in place and that the team are correctly supporting factory operations,
- To ensure accurate and up to date and ‘value adding’ CIC’s are in place supported with Risk Assessments and verified via published audits.
- To have a sound understanding of the sites environmental monitoring plan and proactively ensure that all OOS results are fully investigated, documented and closed out to prevent reoccurrence.
- To ensure the Hygiene documentation and supporting data, is in place, accurately populated and easy to retrieve.
- To support both internal and external audits/visits, representing the Hygiene function
- To feed required data into the Technical account Manager and /or, the complaint Analysts for the population of customer reports/scorecards and Business plans.
- To ensure PPE and Hygiene consumables fulfil the factories requirements and are managed within budgetary constraints.
- To be part of the risk assessment process for any new equipment, ensuring the delivery of any required training requirements supported with clear CIC’s
- To hold regular review meetings with Hygiene suppliers (Holchem) and ensure independent audits are completed as external verification of our standards. Publishing the results and ensuring any corrective actions are fully implemented and closed out.
- To conduct ‘adhoc’ Hygiene audits across all shifts and all areas (internally and externally) verifying the standards. Put in place preventative action plans to close out these issues and re-audit to validate compliance.
- Provide insight on new cleaning materials, methods and equipment, presenting the justification for such methods to the Technical Management team.
- Conduct independent ATP swabbing both as a validation of routine and additional cleans and as part of a ‘problem solving’ analysis tool.
- To sit on and be part of the sites HACCP team.
- To champion and uphold the standards and practices of the ETI base code within the team and wider business, report and resolve any situations that may arise in the workplace where a standard is not being met
- To lead and develop the site Hygiene team, ensuring that PDR’s and development plans are in place to at least Supervisor level
To succeed as a Hygiene Manager, we ask thatyou have the following experience/expertise:
- Proven track record for developing, leading and motivating high performing teams. Extensive experience in proactive Hygiene team management and able to draw on this experience to drive the department forward.
- Experience in Hygiene system implementation and development that demonstrates continuous improvement.
- Broad experience gained working with the major retailers and a trusted and earnt reputation for absolute integrity
- Ability to simultaneously manage numerous projects and workstreams.
- Enjoys working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
