Our Finance team is based across two main sites - Aberdeen and Kuala Lumpur. This role will be based from our Aberdeen office headquarters, on a hybrid working basis. We're happy to discuss how that will look for you as part of the hiring process.
On a typical day, it looks like this...
- Analyse daily financial transactions to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgets.
- Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Investigate discrepancies between actual and expected performance, recommending corrective actions.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and update financial forecasts based on current business performance.
- Review departmental cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Collaborate with senior managers, Finance colleagues, and cross-functional teams (e.g. HR, Operations) to gather data and provide financial insights.
- Liaise with external partners such as auditors, tax consultants, and banks to ensure compliance and support audits.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory financial statements and compliance with local regulations.
- Oversee tax filings, payroll processes, and statutory payments (e.g. EPF, Income Tax, SOCSO, EIS).
- Manage intercompany billing, transfer pricing reviews, and fund transfers for operational continuity.
- Supervise end-to-end finance activities including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset management.
- Monitor cash flow and manage intercompany collections and payments.
- Maintain and review Finance SOPs and participate in integration and process improvement initiatives.

- Be a part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS)
- Have experience working in complex financial environments with a multinational, multicurrency business
- Have proven experience in a management accounting, financial analysis, or business partnering role.
- Experienced in preparing monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasts.
- Familiarity with statutory reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment and supporting operational decision-making.
- Be highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
- Have a track record of delivering accurate work to deadlines in a fast-paced organisation, with excellent prioritisation and task management skills.
- Be able to communicate well with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to influence and guide towards agreed outcomes.
- Have high integrity, a role model for doing the right thing and commitment to high performance.
- Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous but full training will be provided
