They are hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward-thinking team at the forefront of blockchain innovation.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and refine robust backend services for DeFi applications, focusing on performance optimization, security, and growth potential.
- Work closely with frontend developers and smart contract specialists to integrate backend systems seamlessly with blockchain infrastructure.
- Design APIs that ensure secure and efficient interactions between user interfaces, smart contracts, and external services.
- Enhance data management processes, ensuring fast, reliable storage and retrieval in a demanding DeFi ecosystem.
- Contribute to code reviews, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
- Keep pace with emerging trends and techniques in blockchain and DeFi backend development.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of backend engineering experience, including 2+ years working on blockchain-integrated systems.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining high-performance backend frameworks and APIs in Golang.
- Strong ability to optimize relational databases (such as PostgreSQL) for speed, integrity, and scalability.
- Comfort with rapid development cycles and a proven record of deploying production-ready code regularly.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for collaborating effectively in a team setting.
- Experience driving technical projects from inception to completion with full accountability.
Bonus points:
- Hands-on experience rolling out liquid staking solutions in a live environment.
- Background in operating validators on EVM-based networks.
- Advanced familiarity with Ethereum’s consensus and execution layers.
- Thorough understanding of DeFi primitives and their interconnections.
