Processing Transactions: Accurately handling cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment, and issuing receipts or invoices.

Customer Service: Providing a positive customer experience by being polite, efficient, and responsive to customer inquiries or issues.

Managing Cash Drawer: Ensuring the cash drawer is balanced at the beginning and end of each shift, and maintaining proper cash handling procedures.

Handling Returns and Exchanges: Processing returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies.

Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization: Keeping the checkout area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.

Reconciling Transactions: Ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciling discrepancies as needed.

Compliance: Following company procedures and legal requirements related to financial transactions and data security.

  • Cash handling & basic math skills – Accurately process transactions and make change

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment – Manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Physical ability – Stand for extended periods and lift/store merchandise as needed
