Become an integral part of a dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Receptionist/Admin. You’ll be the face of the practice, managing both front-end patient interactions and back-end operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your medical office skills in a fast-paced, multi-provider environment. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient flow, efficient office management, and contributing to the practice’s expansion plans.

Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Approximately USD 850
  • Paid Hours per Week: 45 hours
  • Schedule: Eastern Time
  • Work Arrangement: Work from home
  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will also be accountable for handling their taxes and benefits independently. The professional fees are calculated on an hourly basis.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients, manage front desk, create welcoming atmosphere
  • Schedule appointments, answer calls, confirm patient visits
  • Relay messages to medical staff promptly and accurately
  • Handle correspondence, manage patient records
  • Perform medical billing and coding tasks
  • Coordinate schedules for multiple providers across specialties
  • Execute administrative tasks supporting office operations
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance in all patient interactions

Requirements

  • Experience in medical office administration, preferably in chiropractic or multi-specialty practice
  • Proficiency in medical billing, coding, and relevant software systems
  • Strong communication skills with clear, accent-free English
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, commitment to patient confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Adaptability to work in a growing, dynamic healthcare environment
