Job Title: Operating Room Aide

Summary:
The Operating Room Aide supports the surgical team by ensuring that operating rooms are prepared, equipment is ready, and supplies are properly maintained. This role is essential to maintaining a safe, efficient, and sterile surgical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures.

• Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are ready and functioning properly.

• Assist with the transport of patients and surgical materials as needed.

• Follow all sterile technique, safety, and infection control protocols.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the operating room and supply areas.

• Collaborate with surgical staff to support efficient workflow and patient safety.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Healthcare experience is preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.

• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control protocols is preferred.

Compensation & Posting Details:

• Hiring Range: $19.00 – $23.75 per hour, depending on education and experience.
