Join our Legacy  

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor, the Team Lead facilitate communication between direct manager and the hourly employees. Responsible for coordinating training for new employees, working together with the manager to schedule monthly safety training courses and follows policy and procedures regarding coaching and developing hourly personnel.

 

Your Contribution to Excellence 

  • Verify hourly personal schedule to ensure daily tasks will be completed
  • Monitor and ensure the proper number of employees per area are following all safety protocols.
  • Responsible for training employees.
  • Provide employees with necessary supplies such as hair nets, ear plugs, plastic sleeves. 
  • Relieve employees and plan breaks and lunches accordingly with California Law.
  • Notify the supervisor of any problem with the quality of the product or machine.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Maintain work areas in clean, neat, and orderly conditions.
  • Meet all productivity and efficiency standards as outlined by management
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations, including active participation in the prompt identification and communication of safety hazards.
  • Must be available to work overtime as needed, with or without advance notice.
  • Must be able to work any shift and weekends as necessary.
  • Prepare related reports.
  • Immediately report all food safety and food quality problems to supervisor.
  • Ensures adherence to a safe work culture and improve upon safety as needed. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

What you Bring to the Table

  • High school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in supervising or managing teams is preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and adaptability.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
