Role Summary / Purpose and Scope
Arguably the most important appointment of the building, the Meeting Room Concierge is a front of house role that gives the building personality and puts life and soul into everyday occupation for our guests.
Driving standards to make the spaces sparkling, comfortable & memorable – whether that’s the meeting rooms, lobbies or other facilities – taking hosting to a whole new level by getting a true understanding of guest needs, adding in that personal service to ensure a best-in-class experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Values
- Effective communicator with strong hosting abilities; able to facilitate visitor management process, welcome guests and escort them around the building.
- Strong customer service experience – taking coffee orders, interacting with guests and tailoring their guest journey by adding personal touches.
- Able to maintain Back of House areas and hospitality tasks Advanced such as configuring and re-setting meeting spaces, coffee machine maintenance, basic stock keeping and other tasks such as required.
- To manage and maintain the meeting rooms, ensuring a consistent level of service.
- Maintain overall presentation of Front of House common areas and perform spot cleans where necessary.
- Able to provide administrative support to the Front of House team, covering reception duties when required and working with the team to manage the meeting room diary.
- Experience with meeting room technology e.g. TV / AV /sound systems, microphones etc.
- Help maintain the occupier portal / app.
- Have knowledge of local area where appropriate.
- To assist the St Michael’s team in achieving operational Facilities Management requirements and ensure smooth operation of the building.

- It may be necessary in the interests of MAPP for you to be agile to your role and MAPP may reasonably require you to do other work within your capacity.
- Social media engagement
- Ensure all customer data held by the building management team and front of house team is GDPR compliant, liaising with MAPP’s data compliance policy.
- Monitoring statutory and internal compliance, including meeting MAPP policies and procedures, RICS and ISO standards and any statutory timelines and escalation requirements

Experience and Salary
2 plus years of working in a similar role
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week between the hours of 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday
Salary Range (Based on Experience)
£24,570 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
